How to Make a Popstar AI Video from One Photo

October 15, 2026 · Popstar AI

To make a Popstar AI video from one photo, upload a clear portrait, select an output resolution, and start the render. The template turns that image into a prepared 12-second, 9:16 performance; you do not need to supply extra frames or write a motion prompt.

Setting Current configured option
Input One portrait
Clip 12 seconds, 9:16
Audio Template audio retained
480P 45 credits
720P 90 credits
1080P 180 credits

Confirm the live options on the pricing page before generating.

Step 1: Select one portrait

Choose one sharp portrait of a person, with the face near-front-facing (roughly 30 degrees or less from straight on), head and shoulders visible, and even light across the face. Avoid profile views, strong shadows, heavy filters, hands or accessories covering facial features, and group photos where the lead is ambiguous. Use a photo you own or have permission to upload. These are practical selection criteria, not a guarantee of a particular render.

Step 2: Upload and preview

Open the Popstar AI studio and load the portrait. Inspect whether the intended person is recognizable and whether the head is cut off, tiny, blurred, or strongly angled. Replace the image before generating if a visible problem is present. The studio uses a prepared template; there is no user-facing free-text prompt for directing a different scene or movement.

Step 3: Choose resolution

The configured tiers are 480P for 45 credits, 720P for 90 credits, and 1080P for 180 credits. Choose based on the output size you need, and confirm the current rates on the pricing page before generating.

Step 4: Generate and review

Start the render, then watch the complete 12-second clip. Check the face throughout the movement, whether the person remains recognizable, whether the template audio is suitable, and whether the 9:16 composition fits your intended placement. A higher export tier changes resolution, not the source portrait, motion, audio, or scene. If a visible issue comes from a blurred or angled face, improve the input before considering another generation.

When sharing the video, do not present it as authentic footage of an artist or another person. Make its AI-generated nature clear where appropriate. If the fixed performance or retained template audio does not suit your use, this workflow may not be the right fit; check the contact page for product questions.
